i think with miles being the first actual baby/grandchild/nephew/great grandchild in the martin family he inspires all of us. i dont know when the next baby is gonna come into the picture, but for now miles is just a good reminder of where we come from. THANKYOU MILES! and keep on smiling;)

He is such a thinker! When he crinkles his eyebrows, he reminds me of his grandpa Martin. We ALL are in love with our darling Miles and want to be as pure as he is now. You both are great parents. We love you and are so proud of you.

He really is incredibly sweet!!! You and Rob are awesome parents, and will teach him right no matter what the outside world believes. (thank goodness we do not depend on government to teach our children values, we just need them to keep our children's future options open) :) You have a wonderful family, and nothing will change that! :)

Staci, I just read Farenheit 451 which is a really interesting read written about 1950 that talks about many things that have striking similarities to what is going on around us now. One thing that struck my book club as we were reading it is that the "weird" families, the ones that had good families, it said that when the kids went home, it was as if nothing stuck from school. I think our faith and us teaching the gospel to our kids does that. It will be the teflon or pam spray that will make the worlds teachings unable to stick to our kids. I really believe that. I loved Jeffrey R. Holland's talk this last conference too. He talked about angels protecting us and our children. It gave me such peace with everything going on. Hope this helps your troubled heart. It helped mine!

PS. Your child is ADORABLE!
