Another day with Mommy!

I have attempted a couple times to get him into my sling and he has not liked it, but today we were determined. I plopped him in and he stayed in it for a couple hrs and fell right to sleep. I was so excited and it was so nice to get things done around the house with him close to me. I think he likes it now.

The ultimate accessory!
We were having a very nice day then the Dr's. He had to get poked in both feet for them to do his blood test. Also his pee pee wasn't healing right after the circumcision so Doc had to pull it down and that hurt him too. What a horrible day at the dr's, but he was such a good boy once we got into the car and went home he didn't cry and I think it wore him out b/c he fell right to sleep. Also he weighs 7 lbs now..I forgot how many oz :S He is healthy and that makes me happy!
Doesn't he look so beautiful in the glow of my computer. He loves watching me blog..he just stares at the screen.

First of all, are you allowed to look that good after having a baby just weeks/week ago? No. 2, he is adorable. I love that sling. I wish that I had had one of those. They look very comfy.

You look AMAZING!!! Have you tried a "moby wrap" at all? That's the kind I wore with Eddie, I like it WAY better because I could hold him differently, and nurse great while being covered completely, etc. But I am too cheap, I just went to the website, printed off the directions, and bought 6 yds of funky stretchy fabric. (no sewing needed!) I loved it. ALWAYS got complements. I still put him in it sometimes at church while I work in the library, he sleeps well and I can be up working with my hands free. Check it out, it's not for everyone, some moms prefere the kind you already have. But it's good to try different kinds. If you want, send me your address again and I will send you one I already have if you want to try it out. Sorry this is so long, I should have just emailed you. oh well, already written, too late. :) He is so beautiful too!

Yeah my older sister has a moby and she said she hardly used it b/c it was a lil complicated. I wouldn't mind having one..I can see Miles growing out of the wrap too soon. I think I would like the Moby..I'm just too much of a week wimp to carry a car seat or a heavy baby around so much :S

Beautiful :) I can't get enough of little Smiles! I bought a sling too & donny didn't like it much. When he tolerated it though it was great! We of course are going to make time for you guys when you come, we're clearing our schedule! We have been looking forward to seeing you guys; when is it again?

Ya, the moby can seem a little complicated at first, but after my second try, I got used to it, and people would stare as I whipped it all around me really fast and tossed Eddie right in. I think it's a waste of energy to cart around a baby seat, it is SO much easier to have him strapped to me, I could easily pop him in and out, (I would just stay wrapped up as I drove around running errands, and it was so easy!). Are you coming up here for a visit anytime soon? If Steph is going down there before the wedding, I can have her take one of mine and I will show her how to use it. It helped that there were 4 other moms in my ward who did the same thing, all had such fun, funky fabrics, and were wrapped up with their babies at church. It was great. I just like having my hands free, and not worried about carting extra stuff. With this baby, I learned that less is more, I am very much a minimalist with gear, (and most things concerning kids), and I like it that way. Seriously, I will send you one of mine if you want to try it. Mine is more flowy, less stiff, and less bulky than the Moby since it's a thin stretch nylon folded over. I liked that better for the hot Vegas summer, the material breaths and doesn't make the baby or mommy so hot. Just let me know! I can throw it in the mail tomorrow, or wait till you visit if it's soon.

Oh sorry Staci, another LONG comment, I really need to get back into the habit of email, and not rely on blog comments to communicate. SORRY!
